Terms and conditions

1. Orders are agreed in writing, usually by e-mail.
2. The order is binding 1 month before the cruise and if the customer cancels the cruise after this time, he/she will have to pay 50% of the cruise price. This applies only to the cruise price, not to the meal price, for example. 8 days before the agreed cruise, after cancellation of the cruise, the customer pays 100% of the cruise price and 100% of the meal price. Exceptions to these conditions may be made if mutually agreed and justified (e.g. due to the uncertainties of the Covid pandemic).
3. Cruises are invoiced in arrears. The payment period is 7 days. A surcharge of 11 €/invoice will be added. A longer payment period can be agreed if necessary.
4. The customer must always provide his billing details in writing before the cruise, at the time of booking.
5. In the event of cancellation, the shipping company will not charge the customer and any money already paid will be refunded in full. However, the shipping company will not reimburse any other costs incurred by the customer.
6. In the case of sea cruises, the possible risk of weather must always be taken into account. The customer must understand and accept that safety must come first. In the event of cancellation due to weather conditions, the customer will not be charged.
7. The customer cannot unilaterally cancel a cruise due to weather conditions, but cancellation must be made in agreement with the shipowner, who is familiar with the weather limits of the vessels.
8. For food cruises, the customer will be charged for the food at the rate he has declared 8 days before the cruise.
