Location: Location: Vuosaari, Helsinki, on-site & partial remote work.
FRS Finland Oy, a subsidiary of the international FRS Group from Germany, is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Managing Director to lead and grow our business in the Helsinki metropolitan area and beyond. Operating a fleet of 19 vessels, we provide essential connections to major tourist
attractions such as the island of Suomenlinna.
Your Responsibilities:
· Lead and manage a small team of internal and external sales & marketing experts.
· Work closely with the directors of the FRS team
· Significantly improve and develop sales in both B2C (shipping lines in Helsinki and
elsewhere) and B2B (charter sales, including individual corporate cruises).
· Oversee Sales & Marketing operations with a hands-on approach, ensuring efficiency
and growth.
· Enhance brand visibility and market presence in the shipping and tourism industry in
Finland.
What We Are Looking For:
· Strong background in sales and marketing within both B2C and B2B sectors.
· Proven track record in boosting sales and business growth.
· Previous management experience, demonstrating leadership and team-building skills.
· Industry experience in shipping, travel, or tourism is highly advantageous.
· Understanding of technical aspects related to shipping is a plus.
· Fluent in Finnish and English (spoken and written).
· A hands-on, proactive attitude to tackle challenges head-on.
