The eastern island route follows the route Kalasatama - Herttoniemi - Laajasalo - Vartiosaari - Kivisaari - Satamasaari - Iiluoto - Leikosaari - Vuosaari. The total duration of the cruise is approximately 1 h 45 minutes.
The Western Archipelago Route is the only water transport route that connects the most spectacular archipelago destinations in Espoo and Helsinki. Along the way, you can enjoy the beauty of the archipelago and stop at various destinations: explore the historical treasures of Suomenlinna, enjoy a delicious meal or sauna in Lonna, or admire the natural wonders of Vallisaari.
The villa building at Kivisaari, or Merilinna, was built by K.E. "Kalle" Kontro in 1918. Kontro did not spare any expense in the building project; the main building was designed by architect Eliel Saarinen. In addition to Merilinna, the island also has other accommodation buildings, a sauna, two piers, a barbecue area and a sports field.
