EASTERN ARCHIPELAGO CRUISE

NOTE! FRI 12.5 THE EASTERN ROUTE IS DELAYED ABOUT 50 MIN DUE TO LOW WATER. OKEANOS DIVIDES THROUGH HEVOSSALMI.

FRS Finland operates Helsinki’s most gorgeous archipelago route between Kalasatama and Vuosaari from the beginning of May until the end of August. The Eastern archipelago route is the only water route in Helsinki which takes you from mainland to mainland and gives you an excellent view into the everyday life in the archipelago.

The route passes KALASATAMA-HERTTONIEMI-LAAJASALO-VARTIOSAARI-KIVISAARI-SATAMASAARI-IILUOTO-LEIKOSAARI-VUOSARI. The duration of the cruise is 1 hour 45 minutes. During you trip you will get to see parts of the archipelago unaccessible to other routed watertraffic or sightseeing boats. The route passes through the Degerö canal.

Note! We do not transport objects longer than 2 meters on board. We do not transport building materials unless otherwise agreed.

The Eastern Archipelago cruise is mainly operated by the vessel m/s Okeanos.

We ask customers to stand clearly in the pear area (especially in Herttoniemi) so the vessel´s crew can see that customers are coming, thank you!

Note! We don´t accept bookings, so please come to the queue in time!

Some departures may be congested due to camp transportation to/ from Leikosaari or Kivisaari. We always annonce about that one day before/ the same morning on our Facebook page and at section “ajankohtaista”

M/s Okeanos runs on Neste MY renewable diesel made from 100% waste and residues. On avarage, vessel transport has 90% lower greenhouse emissions than fossil diesel. Neste MY renewable fuels burn cleanly and put less strain on the engine and the climate.
